Progressive Arts Alliance's Community Outreach Programs extend our commitment to presenting dynamic arts education programs and further our mission as a community resource that provides experiences that stimulate critical thinking and promote progressive thought.

Through a variety of programs designed to engage children, adults, families, artists and community-based organizations, PAA's Community Outreach Programs have been developed to meet the needs of diverse populations to broaden the educational community that we serve each year.

PAA collaborates with community, regional and national partners to introduce programming opportunities that address a range of educational needs through our approach to using the contemporary arts to inspire higher thinking skills, dynamic creative work and achievement in arts education.

Community Outreach Programs have been presented in neighborhood parks and libraries, community centers, social service agencies, community festivals, and religious organizations. These outreach programs allow PAA to be an even greater community resource. PAA's presentations at family-oriented programs combine fun and education with an opportunity to experience dynamic live performances by professional artist-educators.

Community Outreach Programs include hip-hop community performances, meet-the-artist panel discussions, mural painting, dance and drumming workshops, performances by PAA's students, and filmmaking projects.
